"The perfect budget hotel"

We stayed at this hotel 4 days on arrival in Vietnam. We booked a deluxe room which was clean and spacious with a tiny balcony overlooking the street. There was lots of hot water, good television, free internet and a very helpful staff. We booked their transportation in from the airport and when we left to take the train to Hue one of the staff came along and took us and our bags right into the cabin. They do look after their customers and we would definitely stay there again. D Craig

"Great value - Great staff"

I have stayed at this hotel three times and have not be disappointed at the value for the dollar. The rooms are very clean with good clean hot showers. Good a/c. Breakfast is ok and free internet. The staff is excellent. Can't do enough for you. They will arrange for airport pickup - recommended at 18 hour flight.

Good choice for 2-star hotel

Stayed for a weekend only. Booked on the net and got a quick reply. Had a confirmation email 2 days before I arrived. Hotel arranged our taxi pickup from the airport (USD10 - highly recommended, about 1hr away). Room was clean/tidy, bathroom recently retiled and fresh. Beds were very firm (really hard). My room was on level 7 (had a lift) at the rear but still the road noise was bad, horns all night. Breakfast was included but basic; omlette, bread n jam and coffee/tea. Staff helpful but english limited. The best thing was everything we wanted was in easy walking distance. Massage next door, 10 cent beers on the corner (30m), shopping in the same block, Hoan Kiem Lake 5 mins. Expat bars 5mins, restaurants 5mins. At USD30 per night for twin share I would recommend it if your happy for a 2 star (ish), clean, friendly, well located hotel. Last Visit:February 2007

"good start to a wonderful experience in vietnam!"

a hotel worker picked us up from the hanoi airport and took us to the hotel. we checked in and began our trip. the hotel was average -- not luxurious, just simple and nice. included breakfast, which comes with a freshly baked french baguette & eggs (i think) they had a/c & internet service to keep in touch! it's located in the old quarter of hanoi and close to the main city! also, it's low cost gets you good service for however long you're staying in hanoi.
